Multiple others are nearing the five-year mark. This client is highly respected in the painting industry with national accolades and known for an incredible culture.

Job Overview

Position: US Estimator

Salary: $1,200 - $1,300USD/month

Schedule: Philippines Graveyard Shift (8AM - 5PM EST Monday - Friday)

Location: Remote (100% Permanent WFH)

Job role:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating costs and ensuring the success and profitability of our clients' projects. You're responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for thermal and moisture protection scopes, including roofing, waterproofing, insulation, fireproofing, and building envelope systems. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine material, labor, and equipment costs, and working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your expertise in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and meticulous documentation will contribute to the overall efficiency and excellence of our projects.

Key Qualifications:

1. Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
2. Experience: A minimum of 1 year1 of US experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, and methods..
4. Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and related documents.
5. Takeoff Software: Experience with construction takeoff software tools, such as Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore Estimating, or similar applications.
6. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, leaving no room for errors.
7. Cost Estimation Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation techniques, including knowledge of material and labor costs, as well as an understanding of market trends.
8. Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with project teams, vendors, and suppliers.
10. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues during the takeoff process.
11. Ai: The industry is moving quickly – we want to embrace all the technology that will make us more efficient.
